The final week


This will be the last devlog of this project, as we have reached our deadline and the game is finished! We are very happy and proud of the final result, though there will always be parts we can improve on. 

The final things we improved on our game were small things, yet have a big impact. Lots of effects have been improved on and a bunch of sound effects have been added for extra immersiveness. 




In the last gif you can see the smoke effect following the player. During playtesting we noticed that it was a little difficult for the players to spot their characters in the screne, so these colored smoke effects will help point out to the players where they are in the screen.

Our game also got some improvement on it's UI and got a logo design too. 




Our programmes worked hard to tweak lots of things to improve the game:

- Improvements on camera movement

- player spawn bug fixed

- space ship collider fix

- small implementation of textures and models

- all ui implemented and ingame menu fixed

- weapon prefab updated

- enemy attacking behaviour improved

- tweaked damage with projectiles

- all sounds implemented and volume tweaked

- Controller vibration added when dying, respawning and taking damage. 




We are very happy with the result we got, and we hope you guys will enjoy playing out little game too!
